Refund & Return Policy

We make everything by hand, in small batches, with real ingredients. If something isn’t right, we want to know — and we will make it right.
This policy is compliant with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
1. Eligibility for Refund, Return or Replacement
You are eligible for a full refund, return or free replacement if:
- The product arrives damaged, broken or leaking
- The wrong product was delivered
- The product is past its best-before date at the time of delivery
- The product was not delivered within the promised timeframe and cannot be located
Refund, return or replacement requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence sent to help@maakapyaar.in or via WhatsApp.
2. How to Return a Product
- Email us at help@maakapyaar.in with your order number and photos of the issue
- If a return is approved, we will share the return address and instructions within 2 business days
- Products must be returned unused and in original packaging where possible
- Return shipping costs for approved returns will be covered by Maa Ka Pyaar
- Returned products are inspected upon receipt before a refund or replacement is issued
3. Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Situations
We do not offer refunds or accept returns in the following cases:
- Change of mind after delivery
- Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
- Product opened and partially consumed without a valid quality complaint
- Minor natural variation in colour, texture or spice level between batches — this is the nature of handmade food
- Damage caused by improper storage after delivery
4. How to Raise a Request
- Email us at help@maakapyaar.in within 48 hours of delivery
- Include your order number, a clear photo of the product and a description of the issue
- We will respond within 2 business days
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method
5. Refund Method
- Online payments (UPI / Card / Net Banking): Refund to original payment source within 5–7 business days
- Cash on Delivery orders: Refund via bank transfer or UPI — please provide your bank details when raising the request
- Replacement option: We may offer a free replacement instead of a refund, subject to stock availability
6. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement, before dispatch
- Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled
- To cancel, email help@maakapyaar.in immediately with your order number
- Cancelled orders are refunded in full within 5–7 business days
